Mike Marvin—Acting and Performance Instructor Michael L. Marvin is a native of Tipp City, Ohio. His love for the stage began at age seven when (against everyone’s better judgment) he was allowed to accompany his father to rehearsals for “A Thurber Carnival.” In the ensuing 20-year chaos that has followed, Michael has played a panoply of diverse and generally effusive characters including Alfred B. Doolittle in My Fair Lady (Tipp City Theater) and Judge Thomas Danforth in The Crucible (Sinclair.) It was in college at Wright State University that Michael discovered his burgeoning love for improvisation, and subsequently spent six years travelling across the US and Europe teaching and performing.
Michael has served as technical director for The Young Americans, is a published short story writer, and currently works as stage manager at the Orange County Performing Arts Center. He recently finished filming a pilot for VH1 in the Sumer of 2009. |

Our Creative Team of instructors is comprised of extremely talented performers who share the desire to teach and touch lives. Each of our instructors has toured the United States, Europe and Asia performing and working with young people through music outreach. In addition to their training in the arts, they have all taken college courses in childhood development and education as a means of being fully equipped to impact the students they work with. We are extremely fortunate to have assembled a group of dynamic young entertainers who understand the big picture. Having had the performance arts positively affect their own lives and afford them certain opportunities; they are ready to “give back.” They all know that exposure to and involvement in the performing arts can have a profound and lasting effect on young people’s lives.
